Maple Cinnamon Cashew Milk

150g raw cashew nuts, soaked in water for 8 hours or overnight

500ml filtered water

500ml coconut water (or just use 1 litre filtered water if not available)

1 tablespoon chia seeds

2 tablespoon maple syrup

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 pinch of pink pink himalayan salt 


Drain the soaked cashew nuts and rinse them thoroughly.  Take your blender, put the nuts along with all other ingredients and blend them on high speed until they become well combined. Let the mixture sit for about 10 minutes giving time for chia seeds to expand.  Then, blend the mixture again for one to two minutes until it becomes thick and smooth.

Over a large bowl, strain the mixture using your Love Tree Nut Milk bag and give it a gentle squeeze to extract the liquid faster. You can put the milk in an airtight container and store it in the fridge for up to five days.

This should provide 4 servings
